Delete your Otroli account

This page is for users of the Otroli mobile app and website (Otroli / com.otroli.app). It explains how to request that your account and associated personal data are deleted.

1. Send an email to support@otroli.com from the phone number or email address linked to your Otroli account. 2. Use the subject line: Account deletion request. 3. Include your full name and the phone number used to sign in (with country code, for example +237…). 4. Clearly state that you want your Otroli account and personal data deleted.

We will verify that the request comes from the account holder before processing it.

After verification, we delete or irreversibly anonymize: • Account profile details (name, phone number, email, profile photo) • Saved delivery addresses • App preferences (country, currency, language) • Browse/product history tied to your account • Authentication credentials so you can no longer sign in

We may retain limited information when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, or accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes: • Order and payment records (including transaction references with our payment partner) • Support correspondence related to your request • Records needed to demonstrate compliance with the deletion request

Retained records are kept only as long as needed for those purposes, then deleted or anonymized. Typical retention for order and payment records is up to 7 years where required by applicable law.

Data already processed by independent service providers (for example payment processors or crash-reporting tools) may remain subject to those providers’ own retention policies after we delete our copies or unlink your account.

We aim to confirm your request within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days of verification, unless a longer period is required by law.
